“A box of stuff together to distract me/cheer me up in hard times (…). Fill it with all sorts: photos, lists of alternatives/distractions/websites/reasons/things that make me happy (including pictures), cuddly toy, body butter, paper/pens, chocolate, favourite DVD (…) mix CD of calming music, list of emergency/friend phone numbers, puzzles (sudoku/wordsearches etc), candle to focus on, pic of you as a cute child, cards/letters from friends/family (you could ask people to write something especially for your box), stress ball, pack of cards, journal, favorite/inspirational quotes, favourite book, something really soft, a nail file… These things will be in my box - you can put whatever you want in to make it yours.”
